二、引證結要，二：初、引證。荊溪云：引大集者，證事須觀，觀成心淨，心淨必能事淨故也。二、「行人」下，結要。「從此而起」者，皆從觀心而起四土。

Second, citing testimony to conclude the essentials, in two [parts]: first, citing testimony. Jingxi says: Citing the Mahāsaṃnipāta proves that phenomena require contemplation; when contemplation is perfected, the mind is pure, and when the mind is pure, phenomena are necessarily pure. Second, from "The practitioner" onwards, concluding the essentials. Regarding "arising from this," all four lands arise from the contemplative mind.
