四、螺髻自引所見釋身子疑，二：初、敘意分科。「生聞信之善」者，荊溪云：初聞未信，覩相方伏，伏已方信所聞不虛，是故二種俱名生善。

Fourth, Śikhi himself cites what he sees to resolve Śāriputra's doubt, in two [parts]: first, narrating the intention and dividing the outline. On "the good of hearing and believing," Jingxi says: At first hearing he did not believe; only upon seeing the sign was he subdued; and having been subdued, he then believed that what he had heard was not false. Therefore both kinds are called producing the good.
