Second, from "the Dharma is without..." downward, explaining in turn, in two parts: first, explaining the seven turns; [divided into] seven: first, the Dharma is without comparison, in two parts: first, properly interpreted in terms of the three [teachings]. Jingxi says: First, saying that there is no relativity means that no-self is absolute, because it terminates that relativity. Therefore it is terminated from the mind, not from phenomena; terminating phenomena is endless, and what is terminated still remains unterminated. The mind accords with the real principle; the principle is precisely the Dharma-nature. The Dharma-nature is fundamentally non-existent; even termination does not exist [therein]—what then could remain unterminated? Regarding "the defilement of relativity is naturally extinguished": only when wisdom accords with the Dharma-nature is it then called extinguished; therefore, the Dharma-nature also extinguishes the absolute.
