四、約修道破。二、訶入聚心非，二：初、分科。二、隨釋，二：初、總訶，二。初、約外聚釋訶。「訶其有心」等者，荊溪云：淨名訶者，意云既有取捨，信知，入聚不免有心，豈能四儀常住諦理？「而有避就」者，愛貧而就，憎富而避。

Fourth, refuting on the basis of cultivating the path. Second, reproaching the faulty mind of entering the village, which has two [parts]: first, dividing into sections; second, following with the commentary, which has two [parts]: first, a general reproach, which has two [parts]: first, explaining the reproach with respect to the outer village. Regarding "reproaching his having a mind," and so forth, Jingxi says: "In Jingming's reproach, the intention is to say that since he has grasping and rejection, one reliably knows that upon entering the village he cannot avoid having [a discriminating] mind; how could he constantly abide in the principle of truth across the four deportments?" Regarding "yet there is avoidance and approach," he loves the poor and approaches them, and dislikes the rich and avoids them.
