三、述不堪之事，二：初、分科。二、隨釋，三：初、總訶，二：初、牒文總標。「不必」者，荊溪云：必秖是定，即不定也。「此不全非」者，以大乘亦宴坐，故但譏小乘之見偏僻耳。

Third, recounting the event of being unequal to the task, in two parts: first, dividing the sections. Second, following with the explanation, in three parts: first, general rebuke, in two parts: first, citing the text to present the general heading. Regarding "not necessarily": Jingxi says that "necessarily" is simply "fixed," so it means not fixed. Regarding "this is not completely wrong": because the Great Vehicle also practices quiet sitting, it merely derides the biased view of the Small Vehicle.
