二、疊釋，二：初、分科。二、隨釋，二：初、釋食體，三：初、約理。二、約事。「問前示食體事前理後」者，荊溪云：前釋體中分之為二，初事二理，今謂即前疏文約事理邪正釋也。對今經文，先理後事立妨。三、總釋事理。

Second, reiterating the explanation has two [parts]: first, dividing the sections; second, commenting on them accordingly, which has two [parts]: first, explaining the substance of food, which has three [parts]: first, according to principle; second, according to phenomena. As for 'Question: Previously the substance of food was shown with phenomena first and principle second': Jingxi says, 'Previously, in explaining the substance, it was divided into two: first phenomena, second principle. Now this refers to the previous commentary's explanation according to the heterodox and orthodox of phenomena and principle. Compared to the present sūtra text, principle first and phenomena second raises a doubt.' Third, general explanation of phenomena and principle.
