四、約彌勒如反並。一一皆云等者反並第三番者，彌勒如無生滅得受記者，賢聖如亦無生滅，應得受記；賢聖如不得受記，彌勒如那獨得受記？若如有異，是則非如；若如無異，那得一受記一不受記？諸賢聖不得受記者，即彌勒亦不得受記也。次反並一切法，次反並一切眾生，例作可見，故云宛然。

Fourth, drawing the reverse parallel in terms of Maitreya's thusness. As for 'Each says...', and so forth, reversing the parallel with the third round: if Maitreya's thusness has neither production nor destruction and receives prophecy, the thusness of the worthy and noble ones also has neither production nor destruction and should receive prophecy; if the thusness of the worthy and noble ones does not receive prophecy, how could Maitreya's thusness alone receive prophecy? If thusness had differences, it would not be thusness; if thusness lacks difference, how could one receive prophecy while another does not receive prophecy? If the worthy and noble ones do not receive prophecy, then Maitreya also does not receive prophecy. Next, reverse the parallel with all dharmas; next, reverse the parallel with all sentient beings; they can be seen by analogy, hence it is said to be completely clear.
