二、正約真智斷明菩提，二：初、分科。「即摩訶般若」者，荊溪云：此從三德中般若立名，於二因中即名了因，於二嚴中即名為智，餘一切法準之可知。「明真斷德」者，智德既是般若，此則名為解脫。名緣名福，對上可知。

Second, directly clarifying bodhi in terms of true wisdom and severance, in two [parts]: First, dividing the sections. Regarding "precisely mahāprajñā," Jingxi says: This derives its name from prajñā among the three virtues; within the two causes it is named the revealing cause; within the two adornments it is named wisdom; all other phenomena can be understood by analogy with this. Regarding "clarifying the virtue of true severance," since the virtue of wisdom is prajñā, this is then named liberation. Named conditional [cause] and named merit, it can be understood in contrast to the above.
