二、「但施」下，別釋，二：初、約四教辨義。四教相望，唯圓名度。「一切法趣」等，假也。「檀尚不可得」，空也。「云何」下，中也。達施三諦到大涅槃，方名度也。

Second, from "only giving..." onward, explaining separately, which has two parts: first, discerning the meaning in terms of the four teachings. When the four teachings are compared with one another, only the perfect is called crossing over. "All dharmas tend toward..." and so forth is the provisional. "Giving is not yet obtainable" is emptiness. From "how..." onward is the middle. Only when one penetrates the three truths of giving to reach great nirvāṇa is it named crossing over.
