二、正彈訶，二：初、分科。二、隨釋，四：初、重止阿難二謗。荊溪云：而說有者，疾是苦果，果必由因。「身小有疾」者，秖此一言，咸招二謗。

Second, the direct reproach, in two parts: first, division into sections; second, sequential explanation, in four parts: first, reiterating the stopping of Ānanda's two slanders. Jingxi says: Regarding speaking of it as existing: illness is a fruit of suffering; a fruit necessarily stems from a cause. Regarding "the body has a slight illness": this single statement alone incurred both slanders.
