五、調惡出家。「惡人來乞」等者，為惡之極不過闡提，既有佛性其即是佛，豈於佛所而生艱難？部雖未談，圓意無異。

Fifth, subduing evil and leaving home: regarding "evil people coming to beg" and so forth, the extreme of doing evil does not exceed an icchantika; since they have Buddha-nature, they are precisely Buddhas—how could one produce difficulty toward a Buddha? Although this section does not yet expound it, the intent of the perfect teaching is no different.
