Second, reproaching based on the Three Jewels. "Taking the nine divisions as the Dharma": in the Small Vehicle, among the twelve [divisions], there are no vaipulya, vyākaraṇa, or udāna. Regarding "further, knowing the Dharma is called the Buddha" and so forth: Jingxi says, "Here, that which is able to know is the meaning of Buddha. 'Being apart from marks is called Dharma': namely, the substance of what was known just prior is entirely the objective realm of the Dharma. Since it says 'apart from marks', it leads to knowing non-attachment. 'The unconditioned is the Saṅgha': since the substance of the Dharma is apart [from marks], it therefore attains pervasive harmony. If there is disharmony, it is because the Dharma is not apart [from marks]. If phenomenal harmony is even so, how much more so principle harmony?"
