Second, under "Only Jing[ming]", directly revealing the perfect meaning, which has three [parts]: first, reiterating the request to reveal the perfect. "The immeasurable within the one": in one mind, all horizontal and vertical practices are fully contained; hence it is called the immeasurable within the one. Yet all practices are not separate from the one mind, which is the one within the immeasurable. Now, Jingming opens the general to bring out the specific, intending to cause beings' capacities to understand that the specific is identical to the general. Now, relying on the present text, first comes the general and then the specific, hence it says "the immeasurable within the one", and so forth. Under "like a bag": the bag is like the one mind, the jewels are like the myriad practices. The jewels are inside the bag; the practices are contained in the mind. Reaching in and showing them to others is an analogy for discriminating and extensively expounding upon the one mind.
