Fifth, the devaputras attain the purity of the Dharma-eye. Jingxi says, "Now examining this text..." and so forth: observing the four passages of sūtra text of the reproach, there are no separate or perfect marks, but mostly seem to resemble the shared [teaching]; moreover, reproaching the small should not merely be shared, hence one knows it is simply entering emptiness by means of the middle, thereby enabling the listeners also to attain the Small Vehicle's purity of the Dharma-eye, which is the stage of cutting off views.
