北土相承云：此經凡有三會，始自佛國、終菩薩品，謂菴園會也。問疾以去，至乎香積，方丈會也。菩薩行品竟乎一經，菴園重會。

The Northern tradition inherits the view: This sūtra has three assemblies in total. Starting from the Buddha Land [chapter] and ending with the Bodhisattva chapter is the assembly at Āmrapālī's garden. From Inquiring about the Illness onward up to Sarvagandhasugandha is the assembly in the ten-foot-square room. From the Bodhisattva Practices chapter through the end of the entire sūtra is the reconvened assembly at Āmrapālī's garden.
