贊曰：下現眾像，有二：一明別現、二總結之。別現有八，此文有五。一、現四大洲之都山，妙高也。二、現一瞻部之別山，雪山以下七山也。三、現四洲之總山，輪圍也。四、現小千等之總山，大輪圍也。五、現四洲之別水，大海等也。

Commentary: Below, manifesting the various images has two parts: first, explaining the separate appearances; second, summarizing them together. The separate appearances have eight items; this passage has five: First, manifesting the central mountain of the four great continents, Meru. Second, manifesting the particular mountains of a single Jambudvīpa, the seven mountains from the Snow Mountains (Himālaya) downwards. Third, manifesting the general mountain of the four continents, the Cakravāḍa. Fourth, manifesting the general mountain of the small chiliocosm and so forth, the Mahācakravāḍa. Fifth, manifesting the particular waters of the four continents, the great oceans and so forth.
