Commentary: These two tiers clarify that according to sentient beings obtaining good, he then assimilates that land. There are two: the first clarifies that those who have not yet obtained the fruit accordingly obtain the good of the fruit; the second clarifies that those who have not yet obtained the cause accordingly obtain the good of the cause. "The Buddha's wisdom" is the good of the fruit. "The noble faculties and practices" are the good of the cause. Obtaining the noble faculties refers to the bodhicitta; obtaining the noble practices refers to the subsequent practices. Alternatively, the noble faculties are the five [faculties] such as faith, and the noble practices are the remaining myriad practices. Or, "noble" means the Buddha; the noble faculties are the practices, because practice is the root through which one attains the noble state. Or, the noble faculties are uncontaminated wisdom (anāsrava-prajñā), and the noble practices are the remaining causes.
