贊曰：下以喻顯。初喻、後合，此喻也。此喻有四：一大、二空地、三宮室莊嚴、四虛空。其莊嚴者，以諸珍寶而莊嚴之。人於空地不安宮室，於空不成。

Commentary: Below, it is illuminated with a simile. First is the simile, followed by its application; this is the simile. This simile has four parts: first, the great [earth]; second, empty ground; third, mansions and ornamentation; fourth, empty space. Regarding "ornamentation," they are adorned with various precious jewels. If a person does not erect a mansion on empty ground, it cannot be accomplished in empty space.
