贊曰：此喻示也。妙高山頂三十三天，四面各八，帝釋居中，而為主故。舊言「飯色」，色見類義。

Commentary: This is the illustration by simile. On the summit of Mount Meru are the Trāyastriṃśa gods; there are eight [realms] on each of the four sides, and Śakra resides in the center as their sovereign. The old version says "the color of the rice" (fanse); "color/form" (se) has the sense of "appearance" or "category" (lei).
