贊曰：下顯理窮。文中有二：初徵、後顯。顯中復二：初陳己事、後顯他詞。此初文也。衢者道也。四方道路，名四衢道。舊云「里巷」。

Commentary: Below shows the exhaustion of his reasoning. In the text there are two parts: first, the interrogation; later, the disclosure. Within the disclosure there are also two parts: first, stating his own affairs; later, showing the other's words. This is the first passage. Qu means a road. Roads running in the four directions are called a four-way crossroads. The older text said ‘village lane.’
