贊曰：下勸如法說。初釋疑示說相、後勸應修。譬如能幻化之士，夫為幻化者宣說諸法，假人假名，為假聽者，假說諸法，都無少實，但為栰喻，故離增減。故佛說法，菩薩能聞，不知分別所說自性而起執故。

The Commentary states: Below is the exhortation to expound in accordance with the Dharma. First, it resolves doubts and shows the characteristics of expounding; second, it exhorts what should be cultivated. For example, like an illusionist who expounds all dharmas to illusory persons: provisional persons with provisional names, expounding provisional dharmas to provisional hearers, completely devoid of the slightest reality, merely serving as the simile of the raft, and therefore free from superimposition and deprecation. Therefore, when the Buddha expounds the Dharma and the bodhisattvas are able to hear it, it is because they do not grasp by discriminating the intrinsic nature of what is expounded.
