贊曰：下勸應修，有八種事。此中有三：一知生根。二慧達諸法無所罣礙。罣者障義，礙者拘義。三大悲現前。

The Commentary states: Below is the exhortation of what should be cultivated, consisting of eight matters. Here there are three: first, knowing the faculties of sentient beings; second, wisdom penetrating all dharmas without hindrance or obstruction—'hindrance' means impediment, 'obstruction' means restriction; third, great compassion becoming manifest.
