贊曰：此結正也。律者儀戒，證真如俗，善可軌故。調伏者，調伏三業，息諸惡故。善知罪性、能依罪根、善識罪相，易可傾拔，名善調伏。

The Commentary says: This concludes and rectifies. The Vinaya is the deportment and precepts: it realizes the ultimate truth and conforms to the conventional, and can be properly taken as a model. ‘Well-disciplined’ means taming the three karmas and bringing all evils to an end. Understanding well the nature of transgression, being able to rely on the root of transgression, and understanding well the characteristics of transgression so that it can be easily uprooted—this is called being ‘well-disciplined’.
