贊曰：四彰罪滅。雖未證真，拔罪種子，初聞妙理，應悔息除。不但罪滅，無上覺心亦發。

The Commentary says: Fourth, manifesting the elimination of their transgressions. Although they had not yet realized ultimate truth and uprooted the seeds of transgression, upon first hearing this wondrous principle, [their transgressions] were brought to an end through repentance. Not only were their transgressions eliminated, but they also generated the aspiration for supreme enlightenment.
