贊曰：下顯語權。於中有二：初明所化、後正明權。此初文也。諸問疾者，皆所化故。

Commentary: Below, his skillful means of speech is shown. In this there are two: first, explaining those to be converted; second, properly explaining the skillful means. This is the first text. All those who inquired after his illness were those to be converted.
