3.88

贊曰：下顯報化二身功德。《金剛般若》云「一切諸佛從此經出，一切如來從此經生，法身顯故。」報身實德、化體化成，實假雖殊，因無別故。初總德因，後別德因。此總德因也。恒沙萬德，福智攝故。佛身功德，皆唯無漏，此下說因亦皆無漏。

Commentary: Below is revealing the virtues of the two bodies, the saṃbhogakāya and nirmāṇakāya. The Diamond Prajñāpāramitā states: "All Buddhas emerge from this sūtra, and all Tathāgatas are born from this sūtra, because the dharmakāya is revealed." The real virtues of the saṃbhogakāya and the transformationally created nature of the nirmāṇakāya—although real and provisional differ, their causes are not distinct. First is the general causal virtue, and then the specific causal virtues. This is the general causal virtue. The myriad virtues, like the sands of the Ganges, are subsumed under merit and wisdom. The virtues of the Buddha's body are exclusively uncontaminated; the causes explained below are also all uncontaminated.
