贊曰：下結難依如。有二：初總申難、後釋所由。此初文也。尊者依如，既得授記；有情依如，亦應受記。

The commentary says: The following is the concluding challenge regarding reliance on tathatā. There are two parts: first, a general presentation of the challenge; second, an explanation of its reason. This is the first passage. Since the Venerable relies on tathatā and obtained a prophecy, sentient beings rely on tathatā and should likewise receive a prophecy.
