贊曰：自下第三，以煩惱菩提理均為難。有二：初難菩提、後難煩惱。菩提有二：初難、後釋。此難也。

The commentary says: From here below is the third part, which poses a challenge based on the equality of the principle of afflictions and bodhi. There are two parts: first, challenging bodhi; second, challenging afflictions. Bodhi has two parts: first the challenge, and later the explanation. This is the challenge.
