4.264

贊曰：五顯己不受。止者莫也。如世尊說：音樂女色，不以施人，壞淨心故。況以生死極惡非法之物，施我沙門，非我宜也。

Commentary: The fifth [section] shows his own non-acceptance. 'Stop' (止) means 'do not'. As the Bhagavat said: Music and women's physical forms are not to be given to people as gifts, because they corrupt the pure mind. How much less should such extremely evil and unrighteous objects of saṃsāra be given to me, a śramaṇa! It is not appropriate for me.
