贊曰：下明驚走，初驚、後走。此驚也。謂無垢稱將欲惱之，故驚怖也。

Commentary: Below clarifies his alarm and flight: first the alarm, and then the flight. This is the alarm. He thought that Vimalakīrti was about to trouble him, and was therefore alarmed and terrified.
