贊曰：此明心也。俱胝百億，那庾多千億。菩薩化此建立菩提。菩薩道心，終無盡期，轉轉生故。亦無退減，實增益故。此勸發心。

Commentary: This clarifies the mind. A koṭi is a hundred million, and a nayuta is a thousand million. The bodhisattva transforms these and establishes bodhi. The bodhisattva's mind of the path ultimately has no end, because it arises again and again; nor does it diminish, because it truly increases. This exhorts the arousal of the mind [of bodhi].
