贊曰：此顯修德。勸發心者，即是知佛多劫恩德，真能酬報。自利行滿，亦是利樂一切眾生，利他德也。

Commentary: This reveals the merits of cultivation. Exhorting the arousal of the mind is knowing the Buddha's kindness over many kalpas and truly being able to repay it. When the practice of benefiting oneself is complete, it is also benefiting and gladdening all sentient beings, which is the merit of benefiting others.
