贊曰：無漏七覺，必依靜慮，故為覺支，引發禪定。舊云「菩提」，菩提分也。聞佛二智，擬當證故，引發般若。

Commentary: The undefiled (anāsrava) seven limbs of awakening necessarily depend on dhyāna meditation; therefore, being the limbs of awakening, it brings forth dhyāna meditation. The older translation says "bodhi", which means the bodhipakṣa-dharmas. Hearing of the Buddha's two knowledges and intending that they should be realized, it brings forth wisdom (prajñā).
