4.538

贊曰：雖遇疾病，勸勿驚怖。此病眾苦，應加勵力精勤勇猛，冀超生死。勸為醫王，療世自他世俗身病，及療勝義一切心病，令永寂滅。

Commentary: Although encountering illness, one advises not being panicked or frightened. Facing the manifold sufferings of this illness, one should exert extra effort with vigorous courage, aspiring to transcend saṃsāra. One advises becoming a king of physicians, healing one's own and others' conventional physical illnesses in the world, as well as healing all mental illnesses in the ultimate truth, bringing them to eternal quiescence.
