贊曰：自下釋中有二，初觀無我、後觀唯法。觀無我中，初觀、後結。觀中有二：初觀無我、後觀因緣，次第釋標故。四大之法假合名身，別大既無主，總身亦無我。別總推徵，我都非有。

The Commentary says: From here below, the explanation comprises two parts: first, contemplating selflessness; and later, contemplating mere dharmas. Within contemplating selflessness, there is first the contemplation and then the conclusion. Within the contemplation, there are two: first, contemplating selflessness; and later, contemplating conditions, so as to explain the premise in due order. The dharmas of the four great elements provisionally combine to be called a body; since the individual elements have no master, the aggregate body is also devoid of self. Examining both the individual and the aggregate, a self is completely non-existent.
