贊曰：下觀因說法。初標、後釋。此標也。觀察自他病之因緣，速令除滅。既自滅已，後為他說。

Commentary: Below, one observes the causes and expounds the Dharma. First a statement, then an explanation. This is the statement: one rightly observes the causes and conditions of one's own and others' illnesses, causing them to be swiftly eradicated. Having eradicated one's own, one subsequently expounds it for others.
