4.606

贊曰：此標勝覺能斷眾苦。菩薩勝覺慧，能斷諸苦，非餘一切外道二乘。若非菩薩勝覺能斷，菩薩所修便為虛棄，空無果故。

Commentary: This states that superior awakening can sever all suffering. The Bodhisattva's superior awakening and insight can sever all suffering, unlike all other non-Buddhists and the two vehicles. If the Bodhisattva's superior awakening could not sever it, what the Bodhisattva cultivates would be in vain, being empty and without fruit.
