5.121

贊曰：此第五，不求攝棄法。取謂攝取，捨謂棄捨。諸分別心謂法可取捨，因緣真如無取捨故。或法有生滅可有取捨，真無生滅，何有取捨？

Commentary: This is the fifth: not seeking dharmas of grasping and discarding. "Grasping" means taking hold; "discarding" means casting away. Various discriminating minds suppose that dharmas can be grasped and discarded, but the tathatā of dependent arising is free of grasping and discarding. Alternatively, if dharmas have arising and ceasing, there could be grasping and discarding; but since truth has no arising or ceasing, how could there be grasping or discarding?
