贊曰：下明含容。有二：初明室變容座、後明世界不迮。此初文也。室廣為大，淨而非穢，諸獅子座悉能含容。令小為大，十八變中舒也。或小能納大名廣，非變為大也。

Commentary: Below explains accommodation. There are two parts: first, explaining the room transforming to accommodate the thrones; next, explaining the world not becoming crowded. This is the first text. The room expanding is greatness, and being pure rather than defiled, it was fully capable of accommodating all the lion-thrones. Causing the small to become large is "extension" among the eighteen transformations. Alternatively, the small being able to contain the large is called "expansive"; it was not transformed into something large.
