贊曰：自下第三，正勸就座。有二：初勸吉祥就座、後勸餘人就座。此初文也。吉祥神力，不待他令。禮賓之法，勸須就座，所以勸也。

Commentary: From here on, the third [section] directly exhorts them to take their seats. There are two parts: first, exhorting Mañjuśrī to take a seat; second, exhorting the rest of the people to take seats. This is the first text. Mañjuśrī's spiritual power does not depend on being ordered by another. According to the protocol of hosting guests, one must urge them to take their seats; this is why he exhorted him.
