贊曰：第三，往來自在。文亦有五，此有初二。標能變者，正明神變。陶家輪者，陶師之家打瓦輪也，置手掌中而自旋轉，擲置還取。

Commentary: Third, sovereign movement back and forth. The text also has five parts; here are the first two. Marking those capable of transforming, and directly explaining the supernatural transformation (vikurvaṇa). The potter's wheel is the wheel used to shape clay in a potter's house: placed in the palm of the hand, it turns on its own, being cast away and retrieved again.
