贊曰：下明大乞者亦多解脫。有二：初顯、後結。中有三：初明所作、次釋所由、後喻明顯。此初，復二：初明所乞、後明乞者。所乞有二：一內財、二外財。外財有七：一親屬、二世土地、三貴位、四飲食、五嚴身、六四事、七資產。

Commentary: Next, clarifying that great beggars are also mostly [established in] vimokṣa. It has two parts: first, revealing it; second, concluding it. Within this there are three parts: first, clarifying what they do; next, explaining the reason; finally, elucidating it through similes. This is the first, which again has two parts: first, clarifying what is begged for; second, clarifying the beggars. What is begged for is of two kinds: first, internal wealth; second, external wealth. External wealth has seven kinds: first, relatives; second, lands of the world; third, noble rank; fourth, food and drink; fifth, adornments for the body; sixth, the four requisites; seventh, material assets.
