贊曰：就此品中，大文有二：初吉祥問答，明菩薩行；後天女對揚，破聲聞執。吉祥問答明菩薩行中，初觀所化、後明利行。初中復二：初問、後答。此問也。

Commentary: In this chapter, the main text has two parts: first, Mañjuśrī's questions and answers, clarifying the bodhisattva's practice; second, the goddess's responses, refuting the clingings of the śrāvakas. In Mañjuśrī's questions and answers clarifying the bodhisattva's practice, first is the contemplation of those to be converted; second is clarifying the practice of benefiting them. The first part also has two sub-parts: first, the question; second, the answer. This is the question.
