Commentary: Here are the last ten clauses. From the eighth bhūmi on up is called having attained kṣānti; because kṣānti is continuous, they are free from stinginess and the like. On the seventh bhūmi these can still arise for the sake of benefiting others. Alternatively, on the first bhūmi and above, natural morality is perfected, and because they have newly attained kṣānti, they are free from stinginess and avarice. Above the fourth dhyāna there is no inhalation or exhalation, let alone in the cessation attainment (nirodhasamāpatti). A paṇḍaka is translated as “one devoid of capacity,” which is the class of eunuchs. There are five kinds: born, castrated, jealous, half-monthly, and by spraying. From the eighth bhūmi on up, although the seeds of all afflictions are not yet eradicated, through the continuity of anāsrava and the deficiency of conditions, they do not arise; this is called afflictions definitively never arising.
