贊曰:此釋人華二別所以。無分別者,無總執分別。無異分別者,無差別分別。又初無共相、後無別相。
Commentary: This explains the reason for the distinction between persons and flowers. "Free from conceptualization" means being free from the conceptualization of grasping as a whole. "Free from distinct conceptualization" means being free from the conceptualization of differences. Furthermore, the first means having no common characteristic (sāmānya-lakṣaṇa), and the second means having no distinct characteristic (sva-lakṣaṇa).
