贊曰：此合也。二乘畏於生死，諸境得便亂惑其心；菩薩不畏生死，諸境不能亂惑其意。

Commentary: This is the application. The two vehicles fear saṃsāra, so the sense objects can take advantage to confuse and delude their minds; Bodhisattvas do not fear saṃsāra, so the sense objects cannot confuse and delude their minds.
