贊曰：天女對揚破聲聞執中，自下第二鶖子問答。大文有五：初問住室久近、二問發趣何乘、三問令轉女身、四問後生何處、五問證果時節。初中問答，合有十二。此初問也。

Commentary: Within the dialogue where the goddess refutes the attachments of the Śrāvakas, the second part from here on is the questions and answers with Śāriputra. In the main text there are five parts: first, asking about the duration of her stay in this room; second, asking toward which vehicle she sets out; third, asking her to transform her female body; fourth, asking where she will be born in the future; fifth, asking about the time when she will realize the fruit. In the first part, the questions and answers together number twelve. This is the first question.
