贊曰：十釋也。二乘名為增上慢者，未得佛果謂為第一而更不求，小得謂多，名增上慢。皆無覆性。為此等故，說離煩惱所得擇滅名為解脫。諸菩薩等名遠離者，為此等故，說諸煩惱本性真如以為解脫。

Commentary: The tenth is the explanation. The two vehicles are called those of excessive pride (abhimānika), because having not yet attained the fruit of buddhahood they consider themselves to be foremost and no longer seek further; taking a small attainment to be great is called excessive pride. They are all of an unobscured nature. For the sake of these people, it is taught that the cessation through analytical deliberation attained by separating from afflictions is called vimokṣa. The Bodhisattvas and the like are called the detached; for their sake, it is taught that the intrinsic tathatā of all afflictions is itself vimokṣa.
