贊曰：八希也。眾生劫盡，淨土常安。凡覩小室，聖知淨土，況能現化。不有天宮，但由內德周備外相莊嚴，小室尚八希棄，大國恒沙難有。濟八難、愍八部、斷八識，去八邪、顯八正道、得八解脫，所以希奇但現八種。

Commentary: The eighth rarity. When the kalpa of sentient beings is exhausted, the pure land remains ever secure. Ordinary people see a small room, while the noble know it as a pure land; how much more so can it manifest transformations! It is not that there are heavenly palaces, but solely due to inner virtue being fully complete, the outer characteristics are adorned. Even a small room possesses eight rarities; in a great country, through Ganges-sands [of kalpas], they are difficult to find. Rescuing from the eight difficulties, compassionating the eight classes, severing the eight consciousnesses, removing the eight errors, revealing the eightfold noble path, and attaining the eight liberations (vimokṣas): for these reasons, as rarities, only eight kinds are manifested.
