贊曰：下第三問令轉女身。有三：一令女轉身、二轉舍利子、三還復本形。初中有五：一問、二答、三返問、四却答、五正釋。此問也。鶖子下位不測上階，謂實女身，故問令轉。

Commentary: Below is the third part, asking [her] to transform her female body. There are three parts: first, asking the woman to transform her body; second, transforming Śāriputra; third, returning to original form. In the first part there are five: first, question; second, answer; third, counter-question; fourth, reply; fifth, correct explanation. This is the question. Śāriputra, being of a lower stage, could not fathom the higher rank; believing it was truly a female body, he therefore asked her to transform it.
